What is Ranch House Studios?+

Ranch House Studios is a professional podcast recording studio located at 1911 E Jeter Rd in Bartonville, Texas, just north of the DFW metroplex. Every session includes a dedicated producer, multi-cam 4K video, broadcast-quality audio, and same-day raw files. The studio was founded by Rick Hopper, the inventor of Readerest and a Shark Tank Season 3 entrepreneur.

Where is Ranch House Studios located?+

We are located at 1911 E Jeter Rd, Bartonville, Texas 76226, in the heart of Denton County. We serve podcasters, creators, and businesses throughout the DFW metroplex including Denton, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Lewisville, Argyle, Lantana, Trophy Club, Roanoke, and surrounding areas.

What is included in a drop-in session?+

Every drop-in session includes a dedicated producer, multi-cam 4K video recording, broadcast-quality audio, and same-day raw files. You show up and record. We handle the tech. 2-hour sessions are $299, 3-hour sessions are $399, and 4-hour sessions are $499.

What are the monthly package options?+

We offer four monthly packages: Monthly at $249/mo for one 3-hour session, Bi-Weekly at $499/mo for two 3-hour sessions, Weekly at $899/mo for four 3-hour sessions, and Weekly Plus at $1,499/mo for two 4-hour batch sessions. Each package includes the same producer, 4K video, and broadcast audio as drop-in sessions. You can add professional editing and full distribution through our package builder.

What post-production services do you offer?+

We offer a full post-production menu: audio editing ($65/ep), video editing with multi-cam sync and lower thirds ($125/ep), four social media clips with captions ($100/ep), show notes with timestamps ($40/ep), podcast hosting and RSS management ($50/mo), platform submission to Apple, Spotify, YouTube Music, and 10+ platforms ($30/ep), YouTube upload with thumbnail and chapters ($50/ep), scheduling and publishing ($40/ep), and monthly analytics reports ($75/mo). You can also bring your own hard drive and skip editing entirely.

How do I book studio time?+

You can book directly through our website at ranchhousestudios.com/book. Select your preferred session length, pick a date and time, and pay online through our secure Stripe integration. You can also book a free 15-minute studio tour to see the space before committing. Email info@ranchhousestudios.com for custom booking requests or monthly package inquiries.

Can I take a tour of the studio before booking?+

Absolutely. We offer a free 15-minute studio tour so you can see the recording rooms, equipment, and meet the team before you book a session. Schedule your tour at ranchhousestudios.com/book.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?+

No. Our studios come fully equipped with everything you need to record a professional podcast, including microphones, headphones, multi-cam 4K video cameras, lighting, and a dedicated producer to run it all. Just bring yourself and your guest. If you have specific equipment preferences, you are welcome to bring your own gear as well.

Can I record video podcasts at Ranch House Studios?+

Yes. Every session includes multi-cam 4K video recording. Our studios are set up for broadcast-quality video and audio from the start. No upgrades needed.

Do you handle podcast distribution?+

Yes. Through our post-production services, we can submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and 10+ additional platforms. We also offer YouTube upload with custom thumbnails and chapters, scheduling and publishing on your release day, and podcast hosting with RSS management.

What if I just want the raw files?+

No problem. You can bring your own hard drive and we will upload your raw files directly. Skip editing and distribution entirely, or add post-production services later.

What is your cancellation policy?+

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session may be subject to a cancellation fee. Contact info@ranchhousestudios.com for details.

Who founded Ranch House Studios?+

Ranch House Studios was founded by Rick Hopper, a Texas-based entrepreneur and inventor. Rick is best known as the creator of Readerest, the #1 magnetic eyeglass holder, which he pitched on ABC Shark Tank Season 3 and secured a deal with Lori Greiner. He also hosts the Not The Rick Hopper Show podcast, which is recorded at Ranch House Studios.
